Batcave DLC

If you played Batman Arkham City and have been playing the challenge maps with Robin or Nightwing . Now they are coming out with more. On December 20th, they are releasing the bat cave DLC. But hat is not all if you preorder or got it at gamestop you got the ice berg lounge and the joker's carnival DLC will also be release for the people who did not get those DLC's when buy the game.

Metroid 2 comes to the 3ds

Over Thanksgiving something special happened on the Nintendo virtual market. Metroid 2 became available for people to buy. A classic game came on a day of thanks for only 3.99. What a great time to pay for something so special as Metroid 2 for only 3.99. I know that is a buyer right there.

What Final Fantasy should be? part 1

Final Fantasy is one of the oldest role playing games around. But of late fan and gamers have been questioning its greatness. But why is not as great as it was and when did it start to decline? Looking at all the Final Fantasy games they really started to hit there stride at final fantasy 4 and became really popular around final fantasy 6. When final fantasy 7, 8, 9 hit stores they were all classics. Some better than others. But when final fantasy 10 came out there was a major change to final fantasy. But with fans behind it and no one willing to question it ten was liked but not loved and the decline of final fantasy began. Final Fantasy 11 came out but it was a mmo that only a few liked and a majority thought was a really dumb idea. When twelve came we saw a lot of the miss takes of ten fixed and some of the thing they like in ten kept making it a better game. But the story and game play was off. Making it also a Final Fantasy that was liked but not loved. When thirteen came we saw the old fight come back and improved to be more free flowing. The graphics were out standing. We thought final fantasy was going to make a come back. But the story was confusing, they took out towns and shop were useless the gamer.When you looked at thirteen closely it was just like ten but worse. Where ten had mini games and few towns to shop. They cut out all mini games, put the shops in the save points and gave you no money to shop at there shops. Just like ten the world was linear.

So the problem started with ten then went to elven, went to twelve and thirteen. But what ever they were doing in seven, eight and nine were big name hits and that is what they should be doing for there next game.  

Jak and Daxter HD

If you have been missing your Jak and Daxter fix well lessen to this news. Naughty Dog has announced the Jak and Daxter HD collection. It will have the first three games in the series. That mean Jak and Daxter: The Precursor Legacy, Jak II, and Jak 3 will be in this bundle. This should be out in February of next year.

Skyrims problems

I am not the only one who noticed this but Skyrim has a lot of problems. When I say problems I mean the game is very glitches. If you buy if on the consoles you can find the game freezing on you or when you defeat an enemy they don't give you the experience that you have earned. These problems are major and a lot of critics don't want to say how bad these glitches are. They rate the game high because of who fun and how beautiful the game looks. But if you can barely even play the game is it really even worth it? I have to say I exaggerate what I just said. The game is quiet playable even with the glitches but do want a game with glitches? I have to say maybe as long as there fixed. But this trend of putting out a game full of problems doesn't usually fly with most gamers. So I have say they have to pull there act together and put out a game that doesn't have so many problems.

What to look for this week

This week if you haven't look for Super Mario 3D Land then you should. If you have a pc, xbox 360 or a playstation 3 and love a good adventure game. Then the new Assassins Creed Revelations is out. It is the last game with is make characters. It should be good if you are caught up on the series. But if you like a good fighter then Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom has also come out. Adding twelve new characters. Six to the capcom side and six to the Marvel side. They even changed the character select so the Capcom and Marvel are easily labeled. Those are games to really look out for and look out for the the holiday season.

Joining the few

Yesterday I got something I didn't really expect to get. I thought they had ended there beta weeks ago but they have let me in at the end to test there game for the last couple weeks. I have been let in to the Star Wars Old Republic Beta. Yes it is old news. But to get in at the end to change a game and to play game that is so big is a big thing. Now all I have to choose is that am I going to be come light side or dark side. Am I going to be a jedi or a bounty hunter. Questions, Questions.

Tommorws the big Day

Tomorrow Syrim and Call of Duty world at war 3 hits stores. So get your money ready and clear your memory. Because tomorrow will be a big day for gaming.

new alan wake

On December 10, 2011 Spike TV is having there VGA Awards. Where there going to give awards to the best games of the years. But also they are also going to announce some of the biggest games of the year. Last year they announced Batman Arkham City what is one of the best game I've played this year. But this year they are supposed to announce stuff on Metal Gear Rising, stuff on the new Bioware Game and the new Alan Wake game. Now when I got my Xbox 360 I didn't know were to jump for games in the beginning. I got the basics like gears of war and fable. But when red dead redemption came out I was pay more attention to Alan Wake for a lot of big name game sites were raving on how big this game was going to be. I have to admit this is one of my favorite games on the system and to see a squeal to such a great game makes me happy. I know I'm going to preorder this right away when ever I can.    

First Mario and Zelda review

Today gamespot, ign and gameinformer have come out with there review on Legend of Zelda Skyward Sword and Super Mario 3D Land. Mario got an 8 from Gamespot, 9.5 from IGN and a 9.5from game informer . But gameinformer was the first to put there review for Skyward Sword they game it a perfect 10 and a game of the month. I hope other reviewer think so highly of this game as they do.

square's major psn release

If your a square fan then listen to this. All through November and the begging of December Square has games coming out. First Chrono Cross for $9.99, the next game after trigger. I must of beaten this game a half a dozen times and am still wanting to play more. This is one of the greats. But if you thought that was great there is more,this game has now been released on psn. November 22,2011 Final Fantasy 5 will be released and on December 6,2011 Final Fantasy 6 will be released. To Final Fantasy's in two weeks that are worth every dime. Me I'm looking forward for Final Fantasy 6 more the Final Fantasy 5. But I'm going to get Chrono Cross right away.

Why get a 3ds for the holidays

Most of this year the 3ds had really only one or two good games to get on it's system. But this November and December right in time for the holidays. The 3ds gets good. If you haven't looked at the system yet. Legend of Zelda Ocarina of Time 3d already out. Street Fight 4 3d edition, Resident Evil Mercenaries, and Star Fox 64 3d are some you should look at. I know I did with my collection. But in November Shinobi, Super Mario 3d land come November 13,2011. Then Mario Kart 7 December 4,2011. But if you still after regular ds games and not 3ds games Professor Layton and the Last Specter has just hit store. Now I have never played Professor Layton game but for some reason I always thought they looked like games and if you look at player reviews and other reviews lots of people seem to like them. Now through out the year people have said the 3ds has had very little to no games. But I advise you to buy a 3ds card and look at the nintendo shop on you 3ds. Some there games of bad but they have a lot of classic games to buy. For example Link to past,Super Mario land, Super Mario land 2, Double Dragon, PacMan, Donkey Kong. Sometime they come out with free games like Four swords and they the administrator program that gave people metroid, super mario bros. , legend of zelda, and legend of zelda 2. So this holiday look at your 3ds and see what they have. Because next year there going to come out with some big name titles. 

Resident Evil Revelations now $49.99

If you owned a psp or a ds most games cost $39.99.  But Capcom has come out and said Resident Evil Revelations is going to be $49.99. It's the cost of a Wii game or playstation 2. But the 3ds is a more advanced game system with more advanced games.$39.99 is not going to cut it for them any more. I am surprised they didn't change it earlier. But my option is that $49.99 is a reasonable cost for a 3ds game.

Games to get for the holidays part 1

This year there have been a lot of really good games and games that you must play to call your self a gamer. But it is hard to buy every game that comes out. When the holidays come around it's time to ask for the best that came out this year or this season. Lets just star by naming the best. Elder Scroll 5 Skrim, that is a must and is going to one hardest games to find for how popular and how cool the game is. Next is Batman Arkham City, if you didn't buy it when it came out then get it for the holidays. It is the best batman game there is. Uncharted 3, lots of action great story. Legend of Zelda Skyward Sword, looks like its going to be the wii last big game and it should not be missed. Next time I will list some handheld games that should not be missed.

Robin DLC

Last week the Nightwing DLC came out for Batman Arkham City. I wish I could of played Nightwing in the main game but the challenge maps they gave you and being able to play Nightwing in the challenge maps is cool. This week the Robin DLC is supposed to come out. That was one of the first thing of content they showed off. The people who got the game from best buy seem to really like robin even though while in wait people where weird about robin being a loser. That he has been in the past like in batman forever and in the 1970's show. But what we have seen in the game and in the comics robin is far from being what people remember.   

one week left

It is one week left until Skyrim and Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3 comes to stores. I know I can't wait for skyrim. Just like Uncharted, Batman, and Zelda it is going to be a must buy and another game of the year for people who loved fallout3 and oblivion.

Gametrailers preview of The Legend Of Zelda: Skyward Sword

If there's one video there is another. This is from the gametrailers web site showing a great preview of what we will see and do in skyward sword. Explaining the new sword mechanics and some of the new gear we will be using. I have to say the fighting looks really cool and the crafting is a great idea. I even love the idea of the bird but was to fond of the idea of fly the bird with the wii controller.

Just beat Uncharted 3

Uncharted 3 was one of the best games this year. Just like the last game it starts with a dramatic opening but it wasn't as good of an opening as the last game but it was still good. It starts with a deal with sully , drake and another man gone all wrong. Leading into a bar room brawl. This game you learn more about drakes past and how the villain is tied into his past. Lest just say the rest really reminded me of the last crusade and raiders of the lost ark put together. That's how great the game is. The action really all the same but the fights can become large and a little over whelming but that was some of the charm of the game. Large fights that you should of lost but you won. The dramatic events in the game are some of best they make you sit on the edge of your seat as you run through a burning building, hoard of spiders, or falling out of a air plan. The graphic have been upgraded also. Walking through the desert you can see every movement of sand on the dunes when you walk on them. When I had beaten this game I was ready for more. The multi player is well done and can give several hours. But now I feel like replaying the first game and going through the series again, one through three and reliving the magic all over. That is why this is one of the best games this year.
